On March 10th, 2023, Johnathan Gong, founder and president of the UCSD Costco Club, made history by eating an ENTIRE rotisserie chicken in front of UCSD's Geisel Library. One year later, John reflects on how the stunt represented more than just eating a chicken, and how the event became a symbol of campus unity and spontaneity.

Threatened by his increasing unwillingness to fall in line, Gregori’s behavior turns erratic and adversarial toward the child he once considered a son. With the two set dangerously at odds and the commune’s way of life disintegrating, the residents fear a violent resolution is at hand.
