Chasing the Light: Norfolk Island with Ray Martin is a visual feast, rich in land and sea cinematography and photography by some of the best in the business, while at the same time telling the unique, exotic and often surprising story of one of Australia’s great treasures: Norfolk Island. World famous landscape photographer Ken Duncan chases the light in an odyssey to get the perfect shot on the spectacular island gifted by Queen Victoria to the Pitcairn Islanders, mutineers from the Bounty, their Tahitian wives and their families and descendants. Ken, the master, has his sidekick and protégé Ray Martin along with him and they link up with local photographer and underwater specialist Zach Sanders. Capturing their chase is one of Australia’s most awarded cinematographers Andy Taylor. Andy turns his own lens on the lensmen and Norfolk’s unforgettable scenery, characters, culture, and customs.

ORBIT: A Journey Around Earth in Real Time

A real-time reconstruction of time-lapse photographs taken on board the International Space Station by NASA’s Earth Science & Remote Sensing Unit. The film is scored with musical selections from three albums by Phaeleh (producer Matt Preston): Lost Time, Illusion of the Tale, and Somnus. The music directly influenced the choice of material used in the film. The film's duration is approximately the length of time it takes ISS to orbit the Earth once: 92 minutes and 39 seconds. Meditate on the beauty of our planet.

The film, shot in 1938, is part of a series entitled “The true face of Algeria”. The film highlights the proximity of Algiers to Paris and promotes air travel. The commentary supporting the images highlights the urban dynamism (“Every day, a new skyscraper replaces a wasteland”) and the comparison with Paris (“Algiers is often nicknamed the Paris of North Africa because of its elegance become proverbial). Contemporary architectural achievements are described as the sign of “grandiose modernism”: “we love the new, the bold”. But the point does not forget the buildings illustrating “the Moorish, classic and attractive style”. The description of the Casbah also attempts to understand the architectural organization but also the diversity and even the atmosphere.
