Overview

This 16mm short film is an homage to the campy beach movies of the 1960s, set within a late 90s time capsule. Shot in 1998 and completed in 2025, the music-driven film features performances by DC and Boston indie rock legends The Make Up, Victory At Sea, and The Wicked Farleys. The film follows Greg and Lesley as they enjoy a summer’s day at the beach. After they befriend a group of locals, their day takes an unexpected turn when everyone gets hungry…

Softee was the head of an ice cream company, until he was forced out of business by the artificial ice cream mafia, led by Don Tofutti.

Body Farm

The forester Johann only wants to warn his ex-wife Sophia: in the village, people are hostile to their "body farm", a forensic research facility in the neighboring forest, to say the least. In the midsummer heat, the smell of decay from the corpses lying around is a nuisance throughout the area. But as soon as he arrives at the site, Johann realizes that the villagers are probably the least of his problems: a fast-growing slime mould has infested the corpses - and is apparently able to breathe new life into the dead.
