The Allman Brothers Band were initially not happy with the first two releases, but they were able to fix the production mistakes only 40 years later. On April 29, a DVD will go on sale, followed by an audio recording of the famous concerts in New York 5 years ago. Then, on the Allman's favorite concert venue, the Beacon Theater, on March 26, 2009, they completely played the material of the debut (1969) and subsequent (1970) records, made under pressure from the producer in an undesirable sound for them. Now 15 tracks of the new DVD-CD-box are released in the form ... in which the public has known them for more than 40 years, but in the presentation of a completely different group (of the same name). 40: A very special number, and this DVD proves why the Allman Brothers Band is a special group indeed. Commander Cody already gained cult status with his band The Lost Planet Airmen by 1980 when he was invited to play the Rockpalast. End of an Era is a concert from Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland, on 21 October 2005, the final concert of a long worldwide tour for their album Once. During the concert the band was joined on-stage by John Two-Hawks, who performed "Stone People" from his album Honor as an introduction to "Creek Mary's Blood", which featured his voice and cedar flutes. End of an Era is the final Nightwish production to feature Tarja Turunen on vocals. She was dismissed by a letter after this concert. In addition to original Nightwish songs, three significant covers appear, their known cover of Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away", Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera", and a cover of Pink Floyd's "High Hopes". The running time of the concert is 1 hour and 43 minutes. It also contains a 55-minute documentary about the fifteen days prior to the concert, A Day Before Tomorrow, and a photo gallery.

In the feature documentary, Summer 82 – When Zappa Came to Sicily, filmmaker and Zappa fan Salvo Cuccia tells the behind-the-scenes story of Frank Zappa's star-crossed concert in Palermo, Sicily, the wrap-up to a European tour that ended in public disturbances and police intervention. Cuccia had a ticket to the concert but never made it. Thirty years later, collaborating with Zappa's family, he re-creates the events through a combination of rare concert and backstage footage; photographs; anecdotes from family, band members, and concertgoers; and insights from Zappa biographer and friend Massimo Bassoli. The story is also a personal one, as Cuccia interweaves the story of Zappa's trip to Sicily with his own memories from that summer.
