Video game obsessed nine-year-old Charlie is sent to spend the summer at his Uncle Steve's countryside home, where he befriends Squeaky, an overlooked rat in his uncle's struggling pet store. When a video of Squeaky unexpectedly goes viral, turning the rat into a social media star, the family's fortunes begin to change. But their newfound hope is threatened when Squeaky is kidnapped by local bully Kevin. Determined to save their furry friend, Charlie, his cousin Stewart, and their friend Jane embark on a daring rescue mission. Along the way, the kids discover the power of family and teamwork.
