Overview

Propaganda movie about the fictional Novozhilov family, by chance, which finds itself in the thick of events in Lugansk. Vlad Novozhilov is a former participant in the invasion of Afghanistan. In a situation, he sees only one way out - to leave the country, but the border is already closed. To save his family, he will have to make difficult moral choices.

As Garibaldi's troops begin the unification of Italy in the 1860s, an aristocratic Sicilian family grudgingly adapts to the sweeping social changes undermining their way of life. But despite his many exploits, which earned him the nickname of “Black Devil,” his role in the French Revolution was underplayed and he was even denied a full pension and legion of honor by Bonaparte.
