Overview

Gym-freak brat Rocky falls in love with Rani, who comes from a well-educated Bengali family. Being from polar opposite worlds, the two decide to switch their families to adjust to each other's cultures and backgrounds and to know if their marriage will survive. Brijesh is an airline pilot. While on duty one day, he comes across some men who are smugglers, and after a short tussle with them, he hands them over to the police. A lipstick containing a deadly secret is left on Brijesh's person, which he unknowingly takes home. He lives with his blind sister, Reshma. Reshma is not really his sister by birth, for he had rescued her when she was being molested. The gangsters find out that the lipstick is in Brijesh's house, and Reshma alone at home, and they sent their operatives to locate the lipstick and if necessary kill Reshma. How is Reshma going to defend herself, when she cannot see the person(s) who have found their way inside, and will do anything to obtain what they have come for. The Mohammeda Rafi song "Ish Desh ke socho kya hoga, ab hum kaise batlayen, jab apne hi gharwale, apne dushman ban jayen..." continues to be banned by India's Government-owned media.

Shanker is a young man who lives in a small village community with his mute sister, Durgi, and his mom, Shanti. Shanker's efforts to get Durgi married are all in vain. The local money-lender, Lala, in his early 60s, comes to know about this and proposes to marry Durgi, but is refused, and asked to leave. Lala plots vengeance, and gets his chance to rape Durgi, resulting in the death of Durgi. Shanker hunts him down, and kills him. Lala's death involves the police, and Shanker must run from them. He does so, and joins a gang of dacoits and pledges to be part of their gang, not knowing that in so doing, he will be spending the rest of his life, hiding in caverns and the countryside, unable to see his mother anymore, nor any normal human being, for the rest of his life.

Rakesh, an out of luck DJ, has just found out that the gig he was to perform in Goa, has been canceled. He is in urgent requirement of money to save his Dad's clinic and in that desperation, partly agrees to carry a packet on his return flight to Delhi. He doesn't realise what's in the packet and the consequences. A bunch of devastated employees of an airline that is shutting down, decide to hijack it's last flight in a bid to recover some dues and to punish their employer. It's the same flight as DJ Rakesh's. With them are flying a bunch of interesting and some weird passengers. Things take a funny turn when people on the flight accidentally get high on the dope including the high jackers. As the plane loses it's direction, the fliers behave out of their minds, the flight turns into one big party...high in the sky.
