Overview

It begins with a chaotic rush of teen hormones when white middle-class teenager Leah gets together with Benji who is black and poor. Leah begins taping Benji and posting these videos of his life revealing his intriguing mix of charisma and shyness – but when this proves boring to audiences, the two of them embark down a path that becomes increasingly violent, ominous and eventually spirals out of control.

Shudra: The Rising is a Hindi language film with a storyline based on the caste system in ancient India, and more specifically the Hindu Varna system. It is directed by Sanjiv Jaiswal and dedicated to Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The film depicts the four basic units of the caste system - the Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and the Shudras. The film shows various rules imposed on the Shudras such as waking with a bell around their ankles and a long leaf behind their back,and a pot hanging around their neck.

He declines and tries to look up his old flame Lily (Barbara McNair), but discovers his own brother is now married to the sultry nightclub singer. James returns to Leslie, and the trio travel towards a mountain retreat. James and Ellen escape and try to find the murderer who had framed James years before.
