Overview

Just out of jail, Fai finds a spot on a street corner where other homeless people welcome him. But he doesn’t get much time to settle in. The police soon chase them away, and their possessions disappear into a garbage truck. Young social worker Ms. Ho thinks it’s time to fight this in court. In the meantime, Fai and his friends have other concerns.

A young woman is fired by her lover from her job in a bookstore and meets a trafficker she falls in love with. She becomes a heroin and prostitutes to buy the drug. The trafficker is arrested and she surrenders to the supplier in exchange for drugs. He pretends to care for a cemetery and demands money from him. She desperately kills him. When the trafficker leaves, he decides to rebuild his life and goes as a doctor to the mountains with the young woman. When it comes to alcohol and smoking, an abuser is overlapped with the tendencies of both alcoholism and chain smoking wherein one is subjected to intense cravings, followed by untoward mental as well as physical detention. Things go downhill one morning, as she relapsed the night before and she suffers a miscarriage. Does it not leave us with the raucous screams of the unborn?
