Overview

When their ship crash-lands on a remote planet, the marooned passengers soon learn that escaped convict Riddick isn't the only thing they have to fear. "The Imperials Strike Back" was written in 1977 by ten year olds. The film was shot over two years with a regular 8mm camera and a gaggle of kids with a deep love of Star Wars. The Death Star has been destroyed and Han, Luke and Leia go try to find Jabba the Hut to pay him off. But on the way there they get captured by a new ship known as the Death Ship. Made before the release of "The Empire Strikes Back"– the title "The Imperials Strike Back" was based on a mis-reading of Star Wars Fan Magazine "Bantha Tracks" in 1979 when the title of the real sequel was announced. The film was finished around 1980.

They live in glass houses (this was written before the invention of television), which allows the political police, called “Keepers” can easily supervise them. They all wear the same uniform and usually turn to each other or as a ”cipher-so” or "UNIFEM" (uniform). They feed on artificial food and rest hour marching in fours in a row the anthem of the One State, pouring out of the loudspeakers. As they are allowed to put a break on the hour (known as the ”sexy time“), draw the curtains of their glass houses. At the head of the One State is one called The Benefactor, which are replaced every year the whole population, usually unanimously. The guiding principle of the State is that happiness and freedom are incompatible.
