"Within the Dark" is the story of high school senior, Max, facing the realization that the fun of his childhood is over. The weight of such a revelation culminates on his favorite holiday, Halloween. The depressing nostalgia of his trick-or-treating years takes over, as Max's mind becomes more and more entangled with the sadness of saying goodbye.
