Miser Ebenezer Scrooge is awakened on Christmas Eve by spirits who reveal to him his own miserable existence, what opportunities he wasted in his youth, his current cruelties, and the dire fate that awaits him if he does not change his ways. A hymn to life and a tribute "to those who left" in this difficult year are the messages that the company Campofrío launches in its traditional Christmas advertisement, which stars Quique San Francisco and Silvia Abril, among others, and is directed by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo and Paco Plaza. D.E.V ("Enjoy life") are the initials of Campofrío's 2020 Christmas campaign, a hymn to life in the form of a tribute to those who left and to "all those who continue trying every day to enjoy the gift of life", as the ad itself shows in its final part.
