Overview

On the hacienda of El Soto lives Doña Raimunda and her daughter Acacia as well. After being widowed, Raimunda married Esteban, who is secretly in love with Acacia and her, in turn, feels a deep rejection of him. Meanwhile, some young are courting Acacia. But the worst comes when Esteban tries to get rid of all the men around Acacia.

During the mid 1860s, brothers Dick and Jim Marston are drawn into a life of crime by their ex-convict father Ben and his friend, infamous cattlethief Captain Starlight. There now follows a whole series of misunderstandings, and one missed opportunity after another. While Hanna waits in vain for some sign of life from Paul, he is flying on missions in North Africa. When he tries to visit her in her Berlin flat, she is giving a Christmas concert in Paris.

His Dog

When Peter enters the dog in a show, another exhibitor proves to be its owner, and Peter is first parted from, then reunited with, "his" dog. Dorcas overcomes her fear and is united with Peter.
