Overview

Extreme Championship Wrestling is back with a vengeance. After a four-year hiatus, the maniacal Paul Heyman and his band of Extremists have returned, delivering the "anything goes" Extreme Rules matches that sports-entertainment fans have come to love. ECW: Extreme Rules will deliver some of the best matches of today, mixed with incredible early ECW matches that set the standard. This two-disc collection is hosted by Tazz and Joey Styles, and includes their alternate commentary of the legendary Extreme Death Match between Tazz and Sabu from Living Dangerously 1999 to unify the FTW and ECW championships. Also, Tommy Dreamer and Jonathan Coachman provide alternative commentary of the jaw-dropping Scaffold Match between Dreamer and Brian Lee from High Incident 1996.

As long a the sun rises in the East, we will begin Stardom shows with rookies and youngsters. This show is no different, as Hiromi Mimura and Konami join the rookies and children in battle. I continue to be sad that Konami hasn't found a real place in Stardom yet, she is much better than this, but it is what it is. Hanan is the best child on the roster but all have shown flashes of ability and could turn into real stars if they continue wrestling the next few years.

The movie covers everything from his early backyard wrestling days, pulling outrageous stunts with his high school friends, to his professional career including Combat Zone Wrestling where he became known as one of the most insane wrestlers of all time. From being power bombed off of buildings to taking a weedwhacker to the stomach, Nick Mondo has done it all and survived. The movie includes great interviews with fellow wrestlers, family, and friends, as well as Mondo himself who relays exactly what was going through his head and what drove him to take such amazing risks.
