Overview

For the 10 interns who sign up to be part of the online dating site BestMatch.mate, spending their summer playing Cupid turns out to be less satisfying than they expected. For one thing, they have a rash of crazy clients to deal with … not to mention their own interpersonal problems. Shoentel Scott, Dennis Addison and Victoria Esher co-star in this independent romantic comedy directed by husband-and-wife team Carl and Vivian Adams.

Tinseltown has its movers and shakers, but they all first started somewhere as The Assistants in Hollywood. The Assistants is a new movie opening December 3. It's a story about a group of Hollywood assistants who use their positions to lie, con, and blackmail their way into producing their own movie. Though it's funny, certainly, there's also great truth in it. In the film, all these twentysomethings - wannabe actors, writers, directors, craftsmen, etc. - yearn, dream, hope and pray to one day be a success in the film business like those they work for and see all around them. Be careful what you wish for - particularly in Hollywood.

One falls in love, the other seeks to return home.

After landing they come upon Vernon a homeless bum and decide that earthlings are untidy and figure crossing a vacuum and a human will elimate the problem as well as create a better race of beings. The experiment however goes awry after one of the aliens pee in Vernon's bottle of gin which makes him insanely in love with the vacuum Dusty which was brought to life by the aliens. Things get a tad bit crazy from here as Dusty tries to reproduce and Vernon tries hard to find Dusty.
