A nasty, nasty comedy

Overview

A reality TV crew is making a programme, 'Ghost TV' about the haunted buildings that are the ruins of Seacliff Lunatic Asylum. As one might expect things do not go to plan. One of the crew is not very emotionally stable and when she discovers that she has been used callously by another crew member she snaps and runs off into the night, only to return with violent intent.

Li Chih-cheng, a C-list Taiwanese actor, is hand-picked by a renowned Chinese director to star in a project during the pandemic. On his last day of self-isolation in Shanghai, he discovers he has a fever. Worse still, he must make a decision between his wife in Taiwan and mistress in China over video call. But as it turns out, everyone has a hidden identity and secret. In order to make it through, Chih-cheng must deliver the performance of a lifetime.

The Monster Project

Working on the crew is a recovering drug addict who suffers withdrawal and paranoia. As a person of faith, he fears his friends underestimate the dark powers they are summoning. When the interviews turn deadly, he must battle the demons, inside and out, to escape the house and defeat the rise of evil incarnate.
