Overview

After 25 years of working in Germany, Henriette and Werner Wallner are looking forward to a peaceful life in their new house in Malaga. But they soon realize that the sweet dream of the south also has its downsides. The once harmonious couple suddenly get into a big row over every little thing. Werner's flirtation with the attractive neighbor Doris and a Christmas party gone wrong finally bring the barrel to overflowing: Henriette returns to Germany alone...

Based on Michael Morpurgo's novel and adapted for the stage by Nick Stafford, War Horse takes audiences on an extraordinary journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France.
