Overview

Fashion designer Samir (Aftab Shivdasani) works closely with friends Sharad (Parvin Dabas), Satin (Vrajesh Hirjee) and Shikha (Anjala Zaveri). Another friend is Janvi (Neha), who wishes Samir would see her in a romantic light. But the girl who's caught Samir's eye is Muskaan (Gracy Singh), whom he meets accidentally over the phone. Gradually, the two fall in love, without ever having seen each other's face.

The story of Sukhadi, a twelve-year-old Adivasi girl who makes a daily trip to a sleepy railway station to fetch water. This banal activity is transformed into an adventure by her chance meeting with Zainaab, a beautiful and mysterious, thirteen-year-old gypsy girl. Zainaab challenges Sukhadi to jump on to the old-fashioned narrow gauge train that takes holiday makers to Matheran on top of the mountain.

One day, while assisting another taxi driver, Mangal comes to the assistance of a damsel in distress, who is being molested by two thugs. Mangal gallants rescues her, and attempts to take her to her destination, to no avail, as the person she is looking for has moved. The next day, Mangal and the young woman, Mala, again attempt to seek Ratanlal, a music director, but the entire day is spent in vain. Mala lives in Mangal's tiny apartment and both become attracted to each other. When Mala finds out about Sylvie, she leaves him. He goes in her search, but finds that she has become a famous singer with the help of her music director friend.

When he asks about her location, she is unable to provide any, and the phone gets disconnected. The question that haunts Dev is: Where is Ria, and how is he going to assist her when he does not even know her location?
