Third Day: Live in Concert: The Come Together Tour

When Third Day released the Grammy and Dove award-winning album Come Together, the band immediately began plans for bringing the project to life in a way that would communicate both pure rock enthusiasm and a message of unity and hope. What started in a makeshift studio in a suburban loft grew into the biggest tour in Third Day's history, placing the band in front of over 300,000 fans throughout the United States. During the tour, the Come Together message was made tangible by a partnership with Habitat for Humanity that led to the construction of eight homes around the world. Third Day: Live In Concert, showcases the visually and acoustically stimulating Come Together Tour, but also traces Come Together from its humble beginnings to the live experience on the road.

Silent Night

In 1818, when Joseph Mohr is assigned to be the new assistant priest in Oberndorf, a small Austrian town near Salzburg, the young man is full of ideas and ideals. His passion to bring the church closer to the common people sets him on a collision course with his new superior, Father Nostler. When Mohr organizes a church choir that includes outcasts from the local tavern and performs in German instead of Latin, Nostler threatens him with disciplinary action. Their relationship further deteriorates when Maria a regular tavern patron, surprisingly joins the performance of the all-male church choir. As Mohr's initial successes start to crumble and his efforts backfire on him, he loses all hope and faces a trial of faith. The night before Christmas, Mohr has to decide if he will accept defeat and leave Oberndorf or embrace the true significance of the Holy Night.

Because of his father's emotional absence, Pablo gets involved with friends who introduce him to the world of rock n' roll, and becomes captivated by occultism. His musical talents are evident, and even though Carmen believes in him, rock is something that she will not condone. The pain caused by his father's absence and his mother's rejection of his dreams, incite in this young man a hate which he slowly directs towards Carmen and the religion she professes. Driven by his ambitions of success, Pablo makes a pact with the devil. Carmen does everything she can to re-establish her relationship with her son, and faithful to her beliefs, she prays earnestly for him for more than fourteen years.

The Goodman Family - Fortress of Love

The Goodmans were a singing Christian-based family who toured the world from the 1990s-early 2000s. On Sunday, December 8, 1996, father Steve Goodman and five of his children were in a car accident that resulted in the death of sons David (age 12) and Peter (age 11) and daughter LeAnne (age 10). They were buried together on December 14. Steve, and daughters Aimee and Andrea were on life support and had various complications, but eventually recovered. The family immediately resumed their worldwide touring with a new mission, to speak of their personal experiences rebuilding their family after the devastation of the accident. On December 20 the following year, the story was aired on TV as a musically charged documentary called Fortress of Love, hosted by Merrill Osmond and with music by Kenneth Cope.
