Overview

In a climate of growing mistrust in Queensland's forensic laboratories, Detectives Daniel Bouric and Elise Watts interrogate prime suspect Mike Wagner over a violent murder. The case should be closed — motive established, opportunity confirmed. But the DNA doesn't match. As institutional pressure mounts for a fast resolution, the detectives race to prove what the system cannot. The truth, when it comes, is stranger than the crime: Mike has an identical twin, and they swapped places to create a perfect alibi.
