After losing their academic posts at a prestigious university, a team of parapsychologists goes into business as proton-pack-toting "ghostbusters" who exterminate ghouls, hobgoblins and supernatural pests of all stripes. Soon after, moma and papa Gappa start smashing Tokyo looking for their kidnapped child.

A team of experts, including Niko Tatopoulos, conclude that the oversized reptile is the culprit.
