Overview

Brought in by an ill wind, a stranger from another world falls to earth into the body of a young man. A glitch in this interchange hampers the alien consciousness to fully integrate in the new found carcass. We follow this being for a day in their muffled wander through earth.

Rachel is desperate to be seen. Not the way her terminally ill father sees her, and not the way her Church Support Group sees her. Not even the way her mentor, Kathy sees her. Really seen. Newly sober and ready to start her life again, Rachel (Caroline Levien) finds herself back with her father, Glen (Nicholas Hope) and languishing in the role of his primary carer. Lonely and overlooked, Rachel turns to her online persona, 'J@de' and the world of chat-room camming as a place to see and be seen. But Rachel's escapism cannot keep the real world at bay forever. As Glen's illness deteriorates, Rachel's online identity pushes up against her own, bringing her face to face with the ultimate act of exposure.

The Call

A popular and common urban legend. Jill is babysitting for Ms. McKenzie, who leaves Jill alone in the house late at night while the children sleep peacefully upstairs. While Jill does her homework, she receives a mysterious phone call. The caller doesn't say anything except: "Have you checked the children?" Jill is confused and believes it is Ms. McKenzie playing a particle joke. After several similar calls, Jill realizes the caller is not who she thinks it is. She becomes frightened and calls the police. Sargent Clifford comes to Jill's aid in solving the mystery of the phone calls. Together they find the origin of the phone calls and discover they are coming from inside the house!
