Overview

A forest service fire lookout gets his wish when he wants to fight fires, for he is sent to check out a blaze, but the fire he finds almost gets the best of him. He also has problems with an enraged bear that has been spooked by the fire.

Once a wealthy local land owner, Toranosuke has long since fallen on hard times.
