Overview

Tres Leches" unfolds the poignant story of a family at the brink of collapse. As tensions rise, Daniel and Vanessa embark on a frantic search when Alejandro goes missing. Amid the chaos, Vanessa's heart-to-heart conversation with Daniel becomes a pivotal moment of realization. Ultimately, when they locate Alejandro, Daniel faces the dreaded decision as his father's final memories slip away.

With the help of their high school's newest teacher, four Hispanic students form a robotics club. Although they have no experience, the youths set their sights on a national robotics contest. With $800 and parts scavenged from old cars, they build a robot and compete against reigning champion MIT. Along the way, the students learn not only how to build a robot but something far more important: how to forge bonds that will last a lifetime.

In the clinic where she is being treated, Claire is attracted to Philippe, a man who is still traumatized after a car accident in which his wife and child were both killed. In spite of their personal tragedies, Claire and Philippe fall in love. When Philippe recovers, Claire moves into his home. Then Claire's condition takes a turn for the worse.

From Cleveland State University's School of Film & Media Arts, this 30 minute Dark Comedy/Science Fictional story was first conceptualized by Cinematographer, Greg Pace, during the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Wanting it to come to fruition, Greg handed off the script to Chan Cunningham, who would then become the Writer, Director, and Co-Producer of the student lead thesis project.
