Overview

A sadistic pedophile mall Santa is arrested after a group of kids alarm local adults and police of his activity. Years later, the pedophile escapes from prison during a blackout. Donning his Santa Claus uniform and wielding a fire axe, the pedophile begins hunting down the now grown-up children one by one.

Katya is a landscape designer. On December 31, she delivers New Year's trees to customers. The last tree from the unfulfilled order could have become Katya's only guest for the New Year, but her mother is determined to introduce her daughter to a young man. Rachel, the film's director and James' longtime girlfriend, suggests that they make a horror film, which prompts James to quickly get to work, researching genre films and the psyche of serial killers. Production gets off to a good start, and things seem to be going swimmingly for the cast and crew. Unfortunately, before the crew can wrap, an actual masked murderer shows up on set... one who is hellbent on bringing their slasher film to life.
