Overview

A short film based on a true story about a blind Irish man who is reunited with the British soldier who shot him 50 years prior during the Irish troubles. After many years of contemplation and reflection, Kevin gets in touch with Maj. Roland Scott Thomas and the pair meet for the first time to discuss the harrowing events which altered both their lives forever.

Soon, however, strange things being to happen as a sense of evil descends on the trench and the British begin turn on each other.

Flashbacks show that Heinrich and the neighbors' son Paul are six years old and best friends. Paul's family's deportation is expected soon; Heinrich's mother tells her son that they're going to Toyland. Heinrich wants to go with them, has a bag packed, and listens for their departure. His mother realizes he's joined them, and her resolve becomes more urgent. Will she arrive in time to save Heinrich?
