Overview

Made-for-tv movie, the pilot for a "Brady Bunch" revival series, "The Brady Brides." Jan and Marcia have met the men of their dreams and decide to tie the knot. They agree to hold the weddings together in the family's back yard, but fight over whether to have a modern ceremony or a traditional one. Can the marriages be saved? All of the original cast members (except cousin Oliver) put in a return appearance.

The story begins in 1917 with Stan and Ollie being drafted into the U.S. Army to fight in World War I. While in the Army, the pair befriend a man named Eddie Smith, who is killed by the enemy during a battle. After the war is over, Stan and Ollie venture to New York City, where they begin a quest to reunite Eddie's little daughter with her rightful family. The task proves both monumental and problematic as the boys discover just how many people in New York have the last name Smith.

While Olivia plans the wedding, Mick expresses his concerns to both Bonnie about the distant Sean, and to Julie about dropping out of college. Wyatt, too, is troubled by Julie’s decision to leave college, and the two have a fight that may end their relationship. As the wedding approaches, Sean reveals a secret that he has been keeping all weekend, and Johnny has a surprise of his own in store.
