The elderly Shukishi and his wife, Tomi, take the long journey from their small seaside village to visit their adult children in Tokyo. Their elder son, Koichi, a doctor, and their daughter, Shige, a hairdresser, don't have much time to spend with their aged parents, and so it falls to Noriko, the widow of their younger son who was killed in the war, to keep her in-laws company.

Their vape formula (concocted with the help of a simpleton lab assistant) is an accidental success and they make enough for the concert ticket prices! However, unbeknownst to them – their viral and all-natural vape juice has turned many a drug addicts sober and this is causing a demand issue for the drug cartel bosses. This in turn starts a zany and hilarious chain of events that will change their lives forever.
